The Art League of Long Island was named the "Best Art School on Long Island" byLong Island Press

We're proud to announce that the Art League has taken first place in the Best Art School category of the Best of L.I. series sponsored by the Long Island Press, beating all other art schools and fine art academies on Long Island. Our congratulations go out to our Faculty, Board and volunteers who help us bring the joy of visual arts to students from all over Long Island everyday.

October 2008: Instructor, Jennifer Vomvas Featured in Local Juried Exhibit
The Stevenson Academy Program is proud to announce that our instructor, Jennifer Vomvas, is featured in The Art Guild's juried competition and exhibition: Portraits 2008. The exhibition will run through November 28. Click here to see the featured painting, "Misty and Rachel". The Art Guild is located at Elderfields Preserve, 200 Port Washington Blvd in Manhasset, just north of St. Francis Hospital. December 2006: SAFA receives aprroval from the Art Renewal Center
The Art Renewal Center is a non-profit education committee and the largest on-line Museum on the internet which featured thousands of high quality images of the greatest paintings and sculptures in history. ARC is visited by millions of users each year, and is dedicated to reviving standards of craftsmanship and excellence in fine art. Here at SAFA, we strongly beleive in the mission ARC has dedicated itself to and encourage our students to study at ARC approved ateliers across the country.
