Long Island Artists Juried Exhibition

The Art League of Long Island is pleased to announce its 52nd  Exhibition of Long Island Artists. This competition, originating in 1955 in collaboration with the Heckscher Museum, is open to all fine artists residing in Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn and Queens. ALLI's juror this year is Benjamin Genocchio, art critic for The New York Times. Prior to joining the Times he was National Art Critic for The Australian, Australia's daily national newspaper, and is a former Associate Publisher of Art Asia Pacific Magazine. He holds a Ph. D in art history and has authored and edited several books on artists and the art world. The Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery is open Mon-Fri; 9am-4pm & Sat-Sun; 11am-4pm.
