Aire Outdoor Landscape
Wednesdays 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This class is designed to help students gain a solid understanding
of painting outdoor landscapes. We will be working at various locations
throughout the Oyster Bay area.Working alongside students, Mr. Zeller
will demonstrate basic principles of landscape painting. Some classes
will be set aside for lectures and a discussion of student work.

Materials:
12 canvases or panels, or Canvas-Paper (coated paper)
Student canvases should be no larger than 12 x 20.
Old t-shirts and paper towels
For an easel: either a full or half box French easel, or a good
folding metal tripod easel.
Brushes: a good mix of bristle and Sable, mostly flats. No brights.
Flats are fine.
Suggested Oil colors:
Ivory black
White: Titanium–Zinc mixture
Raw Umber
Burnt Umber
Raw Sienna
Burnt Sienna
Yellow Ochre
Transparent Yellow Oxide
Viridian
Sap Green
Terre Verte
Chrome Green Oxide
Mars Violet
Venetian Red
Ultramarine Blue
Cobalt blue
Cadmium Yellow
Medium: Stand Oil mixed by 50% with odorless turpentine.
